Hey quitters! Hope the start of your week is going well. I wanted to take a minute to share my experience with the vaping gear I am using. I know each of us have very different vaping likes and dislikes, but I think if you are on the fence on some of these products I use this might shed a little light on what you can expect.
Before I begin breaking these down for you, keep in mind that these are all very good quality items and well worth the price. My "cons" are based soley on my vaping experience!
So lets begin:

KANGERTECH SUBOX MINI KIT:
PROS:
-Easy to use LED display
- Adjustable wattage up to 50watts
- USB charging/Use while charging
- Verticle Coils
- Great airflow with ample adjustability
- Attractive design (available in White/Black or Black/Red)
- On the fly adjustments

CONS: (Not many for me but here are some that might affect you)
- 510 Connection not spring loaded
- Cannot adjust voltage

Price Range = From $57 (China) to $85  (Price does not include 18650 battery needed)

My personal experience:
I have had this device for a month now. I favor this unit above any other "tank" style I have ever used. Your kit includes two coils (.5 Ohm and 1.5 Ohm). It also has a rebuidable coil kit as well. My 1st preferrence in vaping is to drip. This device I can use for both dripping and tank use. I actually prefer to switch to my tank in the evenings because dripping while laying in bed and at night, for me, is too much of a hassel. When using at night with the tank I must say the flavor vs. almost all other tank devices I have, is much more pronounced with with this kit. I could go on and on about this but really I would just be beating a dead horse. You do not need to search hard online and you can read everyones review on this and they all pretty much say the same thing. I rate this device for me a 9 out of 10. If it had variable voltage it would be a 10+ in my book. If you want to become a quitter and are looking for the right kit to ensure success, look no further and buy this kit!

TOBECO TURBO RDA:

PROS:
- Rebuildable
- Turbine fan
- Two different attachments for tip (1-Normal tip & 1-Glass tip with same OD as body)
- Stainless Steal construction (Available in metal finish or Black)
- Deep jucie well
- Adjustable air flow

CONS:
- When using glass tip, the turbine fan can become a bit loud

Price Range - Between $20 & $30

This RDA is awesome. Granted it can be a bit loud when using the glass mouth peice, but with the standard mouth peice on it is much more quite. Honestly, I am not too sure how much the turbine actually contributes to the vape production, but who cares! It produces a great amount of vape, good flavor, and a nice cool throat hit. Above all it is a great starter RDA. Price is right, built well, and holds a good amount of liquid. Are there better drippers out there? Absolutely, but I like to buy the lower to mid level products. I mean cost is the second most popular reason for dropping the analogs!

You can see in my photo that there are other items but these items such as batteries, chargers, wick and wire, although very imortant for the best vaping experience, I am not going to dig too deep into on this review. Keep checking back because I will add that information soon.

So after going through many vape devices in my quest to try and match the "throat hit" analogs provide, I did it! I finally broke down and bought a mod and RDA. My first set up was the clone #NotaClone. The local shop in the town I am in now offered a free build with the purchase of this dripper. I watched very closely how the guy there built it. After watching I thought, "well hell I can do that. It looks easy as hell". So I left the shop with my new RDA build complete with a dual 26 gauge (AKA 26AWG) setup with a .4 Ohm reading. I must say that that set up, done by someone who knows what they were doing, was the perfect vape for me. Intense flavor. Nice warm, full throat hit. It was like a match made in Heaven! Well not that good but by far the best vaping experience I have had to date!
A few days later I get the idea that I can go back to the shop, buy some Kanthal and cotton, and do that on my own. I am not bragging but I really consider myself pretty good with my hands. So there I was, walking out of the shop with what I need to rip that crappy build he made (sarcastic insert) apart, whip me up some killer coils I saw on YouTube and I was certain my 1st beep on this mod would smoke up my entire room! One beep, not even a big one.
Here is where I humbled myself and began to regret ripping the perfectly good 3 day old build out to insert my twisted tangle of shit that got hot from my legs to the middle of the coil. For you out there that know that this is the complete oposite of what a coil should do, you should get where I am now. For you new quitters out there let me just say, that dripper I bought and loved was back in its box and my KangerTech tank was back on.
I do not give up though. You quitters out there in the same boat I have good news. After a few more attempts I actually had built myself a pretty good dual setup at .3 Ohms.( Disclaimer - Please be sure to know your battery output before you attempt to build a coil. If you do not build it to work within your setup it could burn out or possibly mess up your device).
So after I made my dual coil that worked well I went back to the shop and upgraded my clone to the Tobeco Turbo. How can I explain this thing? It's like an RDA with a turbo boost, it even says so in the name!!! Have you ever as a kid had one of those whistle toys that was round and about 3" long, with a 3 blade prop inside that as you blew out it made a high pitched whistle sound? Well the guys at Tobeco decided to get that, turn it around and add an RDA to it. No joke this think sings like whistle if you want it to. It actually is a great little dripper but just a little loud for me. If you use the adapter on it that you insert a drip tip into it makes it not as loud.
Back to my 2nd succesful build attempt. I had seen a guy on YouTube make what he called a twisted coil. What is that you ask? It's just what it says, two pieces of Kanthal twisted into one piece of Kanthal and then wrapped like normal. Then I saw a different vape vlogger make a "sleeper" build. The Sleeper is a dual coil made from one stand of Kanthal. (check this method out online. It is pretty cool). So my brain went BING.G.G.G.G.G (yes it even echoes) I will build a "twisted sleeper". It even sounds badass! I would like to think I coined the term but I am no that fast and am certain someone has made and called it that. Well I made it and it was pretty cool. It wasn't my favorite to actually use because by design it will clock in at a higher Ohm than I prefer. If someone out there can tell me how to get a "twisted sleeper" to below .8 Ohm I would love for you to either email or add it to the forum section of this blog.
Quitters, the point of this is to encourage you to dig in. Vaping can be more than a life saver over analogs, it can become a hobby. If you like to tinker with things and you get a little personal satisfaction out of using things you made with your own hands and like saving even more money, RDA's are for you. One last thought on RDA's. I have seen people say that when you smoke analogs vs. vaping, you had an end point with the analog. I have seen people say that vaping is more of a never ending use because it doesn't go out. It may die, but before that they are right, vaping can be never ending. With an RDA, you have an end. Why? Because you drip a few drops of your e-liquid on the cotton and only get to hit it between 4-15 times depending on your setup. So to me, RDA's have that addiction part of analogs covered too! Be a quitter, vape it on a dripper!
